NASA on the importance of uniting the scientific community to find effective solutions to the climate crisis

 


I continue to report on the important work that ALLATRA volunteers are doing to address the major crisis of our time - the climate crisis.

Today I will tell you that the volunteers of the Creative Society Project conducted a unique interview with Joshua Barnes, Director of NASA's Disaster Response Coordination System (DRCS).

He emphasized that every year natural disasters increase and break previous records. Also, Joshua Barnes said that in the face of natural disasters, and it is important to bring the scientific community together to find effective solutions.

In his interview, Joshua Barnes particularly noted that: “Every year we see new records of natural disasters, which requires increased preparedness and collaboration at all levels. NASA scientists and engineers are working on innovations that not only improve our daily lives, but also play a key role in responding to these disasters.”

Also, in the interview, Joshua Barnes revealed that NASA is engaged in climate science research and development, utilizing advanced technology and space satellites to monitor climate change. As he said: “Our efforts are focused on developing technologies that will help us not only predict but also respond effectively to natural disasters.”

It is safe to say that the Disasters Expo USA event was a milestone in the discussion on climate change and responses to it around the world.

Restoring the ocean's heat exchange function for a sustainable future

I, an ALLATRA volunteer want to tell you once again about a really important solution to overcome the climate crisis. This solution was presented on a large scale by volunteers on May 11, 2024 in Prague at the ALLATRA CLIMATE CRISIS EVENT climate summit. Today, the Earth's oceans are in crisis. Climate change is changing their vital role in regulating global temperatures, and the consequences for humanity are dire. We are seeing extreme weather events, rising sea levels and disrupted ecosystems.   BUT!!! The good news is that there is a solution: atmospheric water generators (AWGs).
