Microplastics: The invisible threat and the light of hope from ALLATRA


 Plastic has taken over our world. The UN estimates that the number of tiny microplastic particles is now greater than the number of stars in the Galaxy. Plastic and in the air, water and soil. Up to 25 million tons of micro- and nanoplastics per year are carried thousands of kilometers by ocean air, snow, sea spray and fog, crossing countries, continents and oceans. Microplastics are becoming more and more abundant in the environment, but no effective action has yet been taken to get them out. In the meantime, microplastics have already been found in the human body and even in breast milk.

Microplastic pollution has hit the planet. The entire ocean is literally saturated with microplastics. It has been found in every sample of ocean water.

And since the ocean is our natural climate regulator, the ocean has become a “heat blanket” because of plastics, losing its ability to vent excess heat to space.  Microplastics, with their high heat capacity, trap heat in the water, accelerating global warming and exacerbating the devastating effects of climate change.  

ALLATRA volunteers offer a solution to this problem. On May 11, 2024 in Prague at the international conference “ALLATRA CLIMATE CRISIS EVENT” A documentary about the technology to produce water from air could actually save the planet from climate collapse. This technology has the potential to solve the global water crisis, cleanse the oceans of microplastics, and give scientists time to find solutions and save the Earth for future generations.

I am particularly proud to say that the need to find effective solutions to the climate crisis has always been a key aspect of ALLATRA volunteers. The ALLATRA CLIMATE CRISIS EVENT conference also emphasized that the efforts and goals of the ALLATRA International Social Movement are fully in line with the 17 United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals.

The film “Water from Air” presents a clear plan for the introduction of this technology for detailed study and implementation by experts.  This project is one of the main steps to save the world.

ALLATRA Volunteers don't just talk about problems, ALLATRA Volunteers are already active today in offering concrete solutions that can change the world.

Restoring the ocean's heat exchange function for a sustainable future

I, an ALLATRA volunteer want to tell you once again about a really important solution to overcome the climate crisis. This solution was presented on a large scale by volunteers on May 11, 2024 in Prague at the ALLATRA CLIMATE CRISIS EVENT climate summit. Today, the Earth's oceans are in crisis.
