Climate change: a catastrophe threatening the world and the response of ALLATRA volunteers


 In the context of the acute crisis caused by climate change, the words of Vanessa Kerry, special envoy of WHO, sound a wake-up call.  She speaks (27.05.2024) of the catastrophic consequences of global warming: increased migration, poverty, threatening the lives of millions of people.

The future scenario is already being painted: 1.2 billion climate migrants are expected by 2050, and 132 million people will be in poverty due to the effects of climate change.  This is not a threat - it is a reality that is already beginning to manifest itself.

However, there is a ray of light in this dark picture: the action of ALLATRA volunteers https://allatra.org/ This is an international movement that has taken responsibility for creating positive change in the world.

ALLATRA volunteers recognize the seriousness of the problem and offer real solutions:

* Outreach and Education: ALLATRA holds conferences, workshops and publishes materials to increase understanding of climate change and emphasize the need for immediate action.

* Practical projects:  On May 11, 2024, an international conference was held in Prague, attended by experts and the general public from more than 35 countries. At this conference, ALLATRA volunteers demonstrated that they already offer one of the important solutions to climate problems.  ALLATRA scientists presented a popular science film, in which they told in detail about the unique technology of water intake from the atmosphere, mass introduction of which will not only provide each person with unlimited amount of clean drinking water, but also partially stabilize and slow down the growth of cataclysms, which will allow scientists to buy time to stop cataclysms and save the Earth for the next generations.

It is also important to note that drawing water from the atmosphere solves the problem of worsening climate change by 70%. This makes it possible to realize several UN Sustainable Development Goals at once.  

The film presents a clear plan for the introduction of this advanced technology for detailed study and implementation by experts. This global project is one of the main puzzles of saving the world.

* Social engagement: ALLATRA calls for social responsibility and mobilizes people to take action to create a more just and sustainable future.

Restoring the ocean's heat exchange function for a sustainable future

This solution was presented on a large scale by volunteers on May 11, 2024 in Prague at the ALLATRA CLIMATE CRISIS EVENT climate summit. Today, the Earth's oceans are in crisis. Climate change is changing their vital role in regulating global temperatures, and the consequences for humanity are dire.
