Allatra TV: a voice of hope silenced by censorship


 I, like many moms, worry about my children's future.  We live in a world where the climate crisis is becoming more and more evident.  Ice caps are melting, hurricanes are getting stronger, and droughts threaten entire continents.  And I want my children to grow up in a world where there is hope for a better future.

That hope is exactly what I found in ALLATRA TV - International Volunteer TV

This channel offers solutions to global problems based on science and the unity of humanity. 

But now this hope is under threat.  The streaming site Rumble has been banned in Russia because the video platform refuses to submit to Kremlin censorship.  The reason for the ban is the ALLATRA TV channel - International Volunteer TV whose content is deemed “undesirable” by Russian authorities. This is not just a restriction of access to information.  It is a blow to freedom of speech, to the right to knowledge, to the right to freedom of thought. 

I ask myself: how can the authorities decide for us what we can watch and what we cannot?  Who gives them the right to take away our hope?

As the CEO of Rumble stated in his interview on this occasion. Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovski told The Federalist. “The Russian request was a direct assault on the universal human right to free expression, so we refused, and they turned off access to Rumble inside Russia.”

But we must not let them destroy hope.  We must continue to spread the truth, defend freedom of speech and freedom of thought. If the authorities forbid us from listening to the voice of reason and hope, we must become that voice. 

It is important to note that the CEO of Rumble said:  “Pavlovski noted that while Rumble is banned, Google-owned YouTube still operates in the country despite the presence of the same channel publishing on their service.” 

Further on in his post, Chris Pavlovski asks a legitimate question: «Russia has officially blocked Rumble because we refused to comply with their censorship demands. Ironically, YouTube is still operating in Russia, and everyone needs to ask what Russian demands Google and YouTube are complying with?» / X

Restoring the ocean's heat exchange function for a sustainable future

This solution was presented on a large scale by volunteers on May 11, 2024 in Prague at the ALLATRA CLIMATE CRISIS EVENT climate summit. Today, the Earth's oceans are in crisis.
